Well, Murphy turns 9 months in just a couple days and he now stands 29 3/8" at the shoulder and weighs 111 lbs.  Everyone seems to think he is gonna be a VERY large newf..We watch his eating very closely and he is on the lean side.  The bad part is he doesn't look big at all to us..LOL

LoganfromNewf:
He may get big but he will always be adorable.

Yep. Murphy is already taller than the average male Newf (28”), and he still has some growing to do. He’s same size as Clancy (who's 8 months). All my friends with mastiffs insist that Clancy is going to be huge. Me? I'm doubtful. I still think of him as bitty, and there's just no way he'll ever measure up to the OEMs in our gang (one of which is truly monstrously huge, in a good way).

Isn’t it funny how they don’t seem large until you see them next to other dogs? I used to think my friend’s 95lb boxer was a bruiser. Now he looks like a delicate flower next to my two, LOL!

Oh how cute! What a sweet little face. I know what you mean about the size thing. I don't think my girls are big till I see them around other dogs or trying to find an open spot in my bed to sleep!!  ;D
