today we took rota to the bay, he seemed a little afraid of the small waves that crashed on the shore but seemed to enjoy it

Rota is such a cutie! ;D My 2 boys love the water!  We take them swimming at a local dog park and they love going creek crawling (hiking through the creek).  I can't wait to take them to the beach someday, but that would be a road trip because the nearest one is 5 hours away ::).  Does the salt water bother him at all?
