It's a sad day at our house today; we had to put down our Big Ben this morning. He almost made to 11. He had a spinal disease that we were able to keep at bay for about 8 months. The disease progressed so quickly in over 2 days to the point where he was unable to even stand. We were lucky to have an unbelievable vet do a home euthanasia. Old Ben was happy and didn't even know what was about to happen. Wow, do they ever tear your heart out when they leave. We already miss you, your a good boy Ben Ben......
