Mr. Grey is a scaredy cat
« on: August 27, 2005, 05:34:29 pm »
We went to Petsmart yesterday and while there I got the boys weighed. Zeus walked on the scale like a pro and just stood there. But Grey froze and layed down and my husband literally had to pick him up. He just layed there shaken, like he was scared to death. He was like this when I took him to work with me to bath him. And he did the samething just now. I opened the sliding door to let him out and when I did that my husbadn was BBging and opened the grill at the sametime. Well right when Grey heard/seen that he frozed and layed down. He wouldnt move, we had to lift him up to get him outside. Is this just an age thing, or will he always be so skittish and scared? We socialize him a lot and by no means, arent mean [no yelling or hitting at ALL] I just dont understand why he is like this  ???

Poor Mr. Grey. I can just imagine that big ol' boy frozen in his tracks. Poor thing! I think he is just afraid of the unknown and will get better with maturity.
