Yup! It's time for a bath!
« on: September 09, 2005, 04:40:54 pm »
I have noticed that Kendra has been looking a little dirty for a few days, and a wee bit of a dog smell about her. But what happened to day motivated me to action.

All the dog love their pool. They splash and play and paw the water. Then they get out and run like fools. It's never a supprise when a wet dog comes over for a little pupdaddy loving. Today, I lets the dogs inside, finished what I was doing, and went inside to find Kendra looking at me with as wet head. Well, no big deal, I don't usually let her in if shes wet, but maybe I just didn't notice when I let her in.

I've been working on my new 192 sq. ft dog house/shed. So I'm sweaty and head for a shower, only find the entire bathroom floor covered with water! Miss Kendra has washed her head in the toilet!!! I keep the toilet flushed, not because I let them drink out of there, but because they do sneak in sometimes. Well, I knew the toilet had be free of human waste, but the water that was left was brown from Kendra's dirty head!

Needless to say, her head got a double dose of shampoo and rinse. I still might be a couple of days before daddy can bring himself to kiss his baby again.

(And here's when I chew myself out for not having pictures to go with the story!)

Ya just gotta love 'em.  Wet toilet-heads and all!  That's the sign of a true dog lover!!!  Go ahead and kiss that head...it's clean enough! ;D

An Update.

The good news!
I happy to say I found out the dirty water in the toilet came from Kendra's feet, not her head.

Tha bad news:
She did it again!

It's not the washing that bothers me, it's the drying off by walking through the house that I can't dealt with!

That's why Kiah doesn't have a pool. She takes too long to dry off. Plus the wet dog smell...ick.
