I have seen something called the Mars Coat King.  It is suppose to remove the undercoat without shaving them too short.  Has anyone tried this?  Or had any experiance with it?

[tr][/tr]Hello My name is mary lee my Dog's name is maggie's she is Kiss her in the,Morning when we get up and when we go to Bed,she would love to Sleap with us,But Shed Releaf,and Missing Link is what we use and we have no hair problems brush once a day but your coat looks like a pair of  your Best Shining,Shoes,and there not to many place's that we go that I Don't Get a Oh what a Coat! I have never seen A Dog like this!!Well this is maggie!!She is a Saint Bernard!!And they Say Wow!What a Dog!When you touch her coat you never get hair out it is something!!!marylee!!I Love my Dog!!!!!
