The bog is fenced...pics for the non-believers...lol!

We finally got our boggy area fenced off...Of coarse we ran out of fencing so had to make do this week with some orange construction fencing...Next week we'll get another roll of fencing & replace the orange stuff...Or perhaps by next spring at least...lol!...Here's Samson & Pippin fenced out & then a pic of Sam howling his displeasure of not being able to get at the icky stuff!

Ty!...Absolutely that fence is just a suggestion to my boys...lol...T hey respect the baby gates in the house too...They're really good dogs!...The rest of our back yard is done in 4 ft. chain link...Again, just a suggestion to stay in to these guys...lol!

K...5 minutes of truth...lol... He was howling because a train went through town about 2 blocks from here & the whistle always makes him howl & sometimes Pippin does too...I wonder if it hurts their ears?

I know that across the street from the dog park is a house w/2 dogs (sound like hound types).  They always howl when the fire trucks go by, which is quite often.

When I worked at the zoo........... same thing with the wolves.  They would howl anytime they heard a siren.  It was pretty cool.

I wonder if it's for the same reason your guys howl?  Ears hurt?  Sounds like another dog in some strange sort of way?

I can just see Pippin and Sammy in a tire swing.  Maybe I need to put one up for Dixie, she loves to climb on around or into anything.
