Wow! Thats an awesome idea. We've been to the dog beach in Ventura & Hunington... it was really cool. Welcome and thanks for the idea...bbq, dogs & a beach. What could be more perfect?

 i actually have a dane,chihuahua,cat and 2 birds along with my 5 human baby's. oh ya my hubby too so that makes 6 human baby's..LOL

this cali get together sounds great to me. lets set a date for the North and Southern Ca ppl. we should ALL get together at some point and have a big get together. couple times a year maybe? who knows but i think it will be neat!

about 110 mi from los angeles
about 70 mi from loma linda
about 60 mi from the apple valley area

i am owned by a X-Large smooth-coated collie
yes, X-Large, he is 29" at the shoulders and
weighs from 105 - 115, he like to eat too, hehe.

I am jealous too!  I lived in Ca for 18 years, Modesto.  But my husband is a pirate (according to my father) and moved me away to MN when I was 18! 13 years later I am still here and loving it!

Sometime in August. I'm thinking early August in the evening by water. Where in LA do you live Nickerbooker? We're gonna visit Saint Mommy & Cassie on our way to LA this weekend. Maybe we can squeeze you in on Saturday???

that would be totally fun!  i work so you would ahve to tell me what time so i could get off....

august would be great!  maybe my dog will look like a st by that time and i wont have to hang my head in shame!  no im kidding...i proud of my bulldog no matter what he looks like!

I am confused. Is it going to be a north Cali event or south Cali or both? Also when you guys say ocean beach is it sunset ocean beach in san francisco?   :)

Since the state is so large it would probably just be easier to have 2 seperate events unless we just want to pick one location and have people drive which is totally possible too. I've never heard of that beach in San Francisco but that sounds great! I've never been that far north with Bear so it's up to the No. Cal people to decide. I've been to several beaches in So. Cal so what ever the majority wants is cool too.
It's whatever and whereever you want to do. I just want to bring my husband and dog and have a blast with fellow members!

Dog Beach in Huntington Beach is pretty easy to get to... also, Long Beach has a "dog beach" one Saturday a month, I think.  Dockweiller Beach (under the LAX flight path :() is another possibliity since the City Council is thinking of allowing dogs there...

Hello How cute! We have a 5mo!she is Great,and a poodle'sthey are old,how would she do if we got another saint puppy?they are a great Breed i love them,How would do will out her breed alone?too?thanks may!!!! ???
