Welcome to the list. I have a HUGE soft spot for Bouviers. Usually dogs with hairy, bearded faces and that kind of coat don't appeal to me, but there's just something about them, especially when you meet one face to face.

Thank you, I usually get that too. People mostly have never seen or heard of a Bouvier. So they either think they are Giant Schnauzers or I actually had one lady chase us down and ask if Shane was a bear. Funny what some people think. This is Maggie. She is 5 months old. She too will soon be getting spayed.

Welcome to the group!!  I love Bouvs as well!  One of our very best friends had one named "Foofur" and he was so much fun!  Great dogs!!!

I have two Newfs, Cowboy and Chester, who keep us well dosed with  love and laughs!

Welcome! Bouviers are great, we have one in the neighborhood here and it truly looks like a bear! Walks like one too!

They are wonderful dogs. Extremely stubborn and so, so smart. You have to make them want to do something. With my female, it is the tone of voice that she responds to. My male is such a great dog, very well behaved and mannered. My granddaughter has a ball with them. When they chase her, her high pitched screams and giggles make you laugh as well.

Thanks everyone. although I am not exactly new I have not been on the site for awhile. Everyone's babies are beautiful. Sometimes I prefer my fur babies to the real ones.

Hello and welcome.

I love bouv's.  I've only seen I believe 2 or 3 in person before.  They are gorgeous.

Thank you so much. They are great dogs. I just can't wait until Maggie gets out of the teething stage. She is lucky I love her. She has chewed the corner of a sofa, chair ,coffee table, door jams and now a dried flower arrangement. I have to keep reminding myself it is almost over. My boy Shane never did anything like this. Is it just girls? :-\
