Farewell Sassy
« on: October 04, 2005, 04:03:44 am »
I would like to say goodbye to my sweet Sassy girl. She is now happy and pain free chasing squirels over the rainbow bridge.

We adopted sassy when she was seven years old. She belonged to my Uncle and was raised as an outside dog. We had finally moved into our own home . When I spoke to my Uncle one day I told him that we were looking for a dog. It just so happened that he was looking for a home for his Sassy girl. Of course we jumped at the chance to have such a sweet girl.

She had one litter of puppies and was a wonderful mother.

Farewell my sweet Sassy gril. :'(

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sassy was beautiful! How old was she when she went to the bridge?

It is too bad that they don't live as long as we do...Sassy surely made your life richer just by your knowing her.

What wonderful photographs. I felt I had gotten to know her by the time I got to the last one, which is my favorite. Wow, you can just see the joy in her face.

I'm so sorry you have had to let her go. Even if your time with her was not so very long in years, it looks like you packed alot into the time you had with her.

Go well, Sassy.  It's obvious you were much loved while you were here.

My deepest sympathies.

You are right, dog's lives are much too short.  Farewell Sassy, you will live forever in those beautiful photos.  :'(

What a sweet face!  Those great pictures made me smile, you have no idea how much I needed that right now. Sassy continues to touch people even now that she's at the bridge. . .

Thank you all for the prayers. Sassy was twelve years old. She quickly became the queen of the couch and did a great job helping to raise Dakota and Jade. We are greatful for the time we had with her.
