We just lost a valuable asset to BPO

All that I am asking is to be friendly, supportive and kind to others. Red was a valuable asset to BPO and many of us personally but she continues to play by her own rules. It is sadly unfortunate but I had to dismiss her. If anyone disagrees with me or my simple request of kindness, please just leave as I am trying my best to make this a welcoming and fun place for everyone.

This is really sad and I would say more but will keep bad thoughts to myself.

That's really too bad. I do not know if the situation with Red is something salvagable. But if it is, it would be worth it for everyone.

Daneinsane, any chance the other valuable member will return? Well, could you communicate to him/her we really would like him/her to consider returning? At least leave the door open? :-\

This is truly a sad day for Big Paws Only. You have intimated more has transpired than has been posted. I only hope this board has not become hostage to a tyanny of a vocal minority.

We didnt only lose Red, we also lost another valuable member today as well.

I just hope and pray this board does not turn into something that I no longer want to be a part of.  I really love being here and think everyone on here is awesome in his or her own way.  I am here for the laughter, advice and my number one priority... My Dogs.

I am hoping for the same thing.  Overall, this has been a bad day on this forum.  I, too, got carried away by my anger/annoyance at this, mainly in my post under the thread started by Yelena Levitina, and I am sorry.  I will think more before posting the future.

Who was the other member we lost? :'(

I too am interested in who else is gone over this besides Red...Did more transpire than was posted on the boards?...If so, I would like to know about it...It is hard to decide what to think & what to do about it without all the facts.

I am deeply saddened by this.  I only hope someone will come around to fill her gigantic shoes of advice.

I must have missed some behind the scenes occurances.  I guess the only thing to do is to move on and look to the future for brighter days.  Let's hope they are out there.   :(

I'm sorry to see Red go and see BPO falling prey to the types of problems associated with other forums.  I can only hope that it gets better.  I've only been here a little over a week, but it's something I look forward to every day.  I love seeing the pics, hearing the advice, and sharing funny stories.  Let's try to pick up the pieces and start fresh.  Red will be missed by many.  And maybe someday she can come back.  Let's try to stay positive.  For the sake of the doggies. :)

I'm also very lost on this topic and I do not dare ask what happened it's in the past and I don't want to see BPO become a B****ing war zone either....I love the people I've met here and we are not just a community we are a family
