We meet him (and potentially adopt him) next Saturday.  On a leap of faith, I'm ordering his ID tag right now...

Nothing wrong at all. I fell inlive with my saint through a picture and we had to wait a month before we got to pick her up. We lived 500 miles from the saint rescue we got her from. Good luck and keep us posted.

Your 'Leap of Faith' is the securing bond.
He will know that you love him when you meet.
I did the same thing with my girl, 'Tulsa'.
I traveled 170 miles to meet her, but I knew in my heart that I would be taking her home, and I know that she felt it.
Good Fortune with your new dog, and enjoy!

I looked at his profile on Petfinder again today and he's marked "Pending"!  For some reason, that just tickled me and my heart skipped a beat!

Thanks everyone!  We're moving into a new flat tomorrow, so things are very VERY hectic right now, and we're going to try to get everything as settled as we can before our meeting with Crede next weekend.

I am so excited for you. I know exactly what you are going through. When we rescued Hutch we went through the exact same stuff. I was telling people that we were getting our Saint before we were even approved to bring him home. It was just seeing that sad insecure face on petfinder that made me HAVE to have him. I can't wait to hear stories about him once you get him home. This is how sad our boy looked before we brought him home. Sometimes you just know that you have to have them.
