Already haveing a bad and only 9:30 am

I woke up with a sore throat and my son won't listen to me so a keep having to yell to get him to listen and I think that both my kids my be coming down with a cold. Oh, plus my beagle (rebel) is getting into everything . I just want to crawl back in bed but not an option.

I also forgot the cats are being irritating also. I can't even think about screaming right now. I did put Anna down for her morning nap and sent James to bed also. He will just lay there an goof off but at least I'll have a lillte peace (for 30 mins)

Ohhh!  Do I remember mornings like that!!  Those are the mornings you get everybody a nice cup of hot chocolate, curl up together and watch a fun movie.  Forget about the rest of the day.  It's kind of a "do over"; as in let's pretend the morning didn't start out bad, we'll just
'do over' the day's start after we have some meaningful cuddle time!

I think I will try that when they wake up from thier nap, James did fall asleep which is unsual so I'm thinking he's not feeling that well. It sound soothing. Thanks for th sujjestion.

I hate mornings like that. At least I can sympathize in knowing that you aren't the only one sick. I've been sick since last Friday and all of my students are sick too. There is something in the weather right now making people sick. Grr....sicknes s....Hope tomorrow is better!

Thanks for reminding me of mornings like that!  I'd forgotten when I used to do that with my daughter and son who are now 16 & 14.    Time sure flies but I remember those pj, disney, shut the world out days.

Well, I feel worse today, it went full blown, but my kids feel great today. Well hubby went to work late so I could get a little sleep. I couldn't sleep last night. O well, I will just have to suck it up and drive on.

I don't think I could give a 1 and 3 year old Benadryl and me it would just wake me up. Pain Killers that knock everyone else out keep me awake.
