Was he trying to bake a pie??

This is what I came home to find last night. I'm wondering if Oasis wasn't trying to help ease my stress with the in-laws coming for Thanksgiving dinner and wanted to help bake a pie??

He evidently loved the Crisco as the tin was empty. He has been a little constipated for a while and you'd think the Crisco would help slide that right out, right?? NOT!!

I shiver to think what the combination of Crisco, baking soda and baking powder has done to his bowels. Things looked OK last night, and no problems this morning, but there could still be one big muffin cooking in there!

Guess he just wanted to help Mommy!  That is such a cute photo, would make a great scrapbook page.

At least it is only crisco that Oasis got into. Angus has a nasty, nasty habit of hunting down any dirty diapers that he can find. He can dig them out of the garbage bags so now we have to dirty diaper proof the house. Man, his breath stinks after he finds one. He is now know as the "People Pooper Eater".

Was he planning on putting the bone in the pie?  Grin

HA! HA! That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that! I guess it's the thought that counts, right?

The funniest part is the cupboard where these items were housed is a good 10-15 feet away from where they ended up. So, he would have had to get in the cupboard (which, by the way has child locks on it so it can only open about 2 inches), grab the baking supplies and carry them ever so gently into the next room because there was NO spillage in the kitchen!

This was definitely premeditated and well-planned. I even suspect he had assistance from the cats.
