That makes me feel sick - a dog owner's worst nightmare. This person needs stringing up and I shudder to think what would have happened had the man's wife been there on her own - it's not a great leap for somebody who can carry out such a vicious and prolonged attack on a family pet and is actually probably just a stepping stone to a human murder victim in the future. The thing that makes me sad is I'm in England and I don't think I can get a letter there in time. I'll try to fax from town on Monday.

This is so awful! Lisa, do you have contact information for the person who originally posted this information? I know the founder of Pasado's Safe Haven, an animal rescue group from Washington State, who may be able to help them with this case. They are very experienced in handling animal cruelty cases, and I'm sure they would be happy to help in any way that they can.

That is horrible!!! I hate hearing stories like this. I also can't believe he got close enough to the pyr to do that. He should rott in h*ll for this. Now I'm p*ssed. Sorry about the language it just really really makes me mad after it makes me cry. My daughter asked to go get Kiah the day she got spayed. I had to keep telling her that it will be soon. It breaks my heart knowing what the 4 year old is going through.
