Curious to know how many of you in here own Dobes. I have 2, Ace 5 yr.old purebred, uncropped and docked, got him when he was 9 weeks old, my very very special boy and I have Sasha 1yr.old (next thursday) and she is Dobe/ Lab cross. I adopted her 7 weeks ago from a young girl who could not care for her properly., she is my baby girl.

I am Stella, and I am currently owned by a nine year old dobie bitch named Raven. She is the fourth dobie that I have had in the last 20 years, and the only female. I also have a male dane and a dane/wolfhound mix.

HI! I am a "dobe owner",or i should say our Dobes own us! 
Currently we have 2: 1) Eclipse our blk/rust Conformation Show Girl 2) Enzo our blk/rust Working Line Dober Boy,who we recently acquired. Dobes have been in my life for 29 yrs.now and could not live without them by my side.Unfortuna tly we have lost many over the yrs.,no thanks to the 2 BIG "C'S".........Cardi o & Cancer........ devastating to say the least.With our latest boy "Enzo" he is strictly 'working lines',both sides w/ SCHZ III and many other working titles.His Sire is a well known "Bleiztzkrieger" from all working lines,as is his Dam from "Kaluaha" Kennel's working lines.We are hoping great things from our boy,he will be 1 yr. old this month! Eclipse is our super sweet girl who is out of Conformation/Obeidence Lines here in Ohio.Anxious to talk w/ all here and fellow Dobe Owner's alike! Gail & FurKids

I agree. Even tho I have the dane and dane/wolfhound mix as well as Raven, I will always have a dobie in the house.

I also will ALWAYS own a Dobie, mine stole my heart, they are a terrific breed. Jenn, I hope you are active, Dobies require oodles of exercise, you probably already know that but anyway have fun with your pup.

Hello eveyone I am new to this site and have been trying to reading everything that has been posted,I have been amazed at how friendly everyone is and truely delighted with all the beautiful pictures of everyones fur kids.....I currently own 2 female Dobermans(1 blk/rst,1 blue/rust) They are my shadows we are currently in obedience training,Brie my black/rust will be having her C.G.C. test in 2 weeks and Luna my Blue is just about to complete her basic training then it will be on to C.G.C for her I hope to continue and compete in obedience as long as my girls enjoy it,I am also open to other training options....my home is alos occupied by 3 other dogs with much smaller paws lol...Peanut is my daughters min Poodle,Bruin is my sons Boston Terrier and Koda is my husbands senior Pitbull she will be 11 this yr(shhhh dont tell her) I have set up paw print profiles for my 2 Dobermans I hope you all enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed reading yours....take care!!

I knew a Swank who bred Dobies in central Ohio 30+ years ago. You wouldn't be any relation would you?

First I would like to say thanks for the comments on my Dober girls....the following pictures are the rest of my crew..Avalanch e(he was a shelter kitten that was so young they did not expect him to survive,Koda my 11 yr old Pit Bull nursed him for several weeks and he is now 8yrs old and 15lbs)...the next pic is Bruin my 7yr old sons Boston Terrier,Then Peanut the poodle my 9 yr old daughters dog and Garfield(Garfield was the lone survivor of a litter of kittens dumped in the woods) Mea is the next photo she was a hselter rescue she was droped of at a kill shelter 12 days away from delivering kittens I got the call that she was to be destroyed and hurried to get her 6 days later she had her 3 kittens...Mand y was a stray that was desperately in need of medical attention something had attacked her....Peanut again he is spoiled....las t picture is Koda the old lady of the house.....Sorr y to take up so much space but I love sharing pictures of all my babies...

Thanks they are all a huge part of my family!!
You have a beautiful zoo there also!...I have 12 in the house...8 cats, 2 house bunnies, 1 guinea pig & Samson...The majority of them rescues of some sort...One of these days I will get around to sharing pics of them all...They really are the heart & soul of the house aren't they?
