Thanks Tina! They usually don't hug each other like that. They mostly fight like dogs do for dominance. So it was so sweet seeing them like that.
I should post some pictures of of my scaly child also. This is Lizzy, my 3yo bearded dragon.
Like my dogs, she was a stray rescued from an Animal Shelter. You have to have friends in the right place to get the only Dragon ever to come through that shelter.
Please post a picture of you herp habitat, I'd like some idea of what I could do.
My cage is 6 feet tall, 3 feet deep and 4 feet long. My brother in law made it for my green iguana Buddy. He has since crossed the rainbow bridge. I do miss him very deeply. He was 5 feet long. Now my bearded dragons are in there. The closed in top holds a fan that circulates the air. We also have a filter on the top to keep out dust, a heater and there's 3 lights: 1 spot light, 1 flood light, and 1 repti sun light. We used plexiglass for the sides.
My dragons are very spoiled. They are also 3 years old. I use sand in the bottom for them and we also have a 2x6 carpeted that we added for them to climb.
