Hope someone has time to help with a rescue drive for a 6 yr old Kuvasz...
1. Desoto, MO to Memphis, TN is about 4 hours one way. The foster home/trainer in MS can come an hour or so north or west to get her.
2. From Memphis, TN the route would either be down Hwy 55 to Jackson MS or go east on Hwy 78 at Memphis and go down thru Holt Junction. If anyone can help, please let me know.
Target date to move her would be this coming weekend, January 8th.
Note: Someone can pick her up in Knoxville, if we can get her there. Anybody?

Anatolian Rescue layed out a route. We have someone willing to drive from DeSoto, MO to Memphis, TN. We need a driver to take her from Memphis to Knoxville, TN., or the routes below:

I don't understand where the dog's final destination is supposed to be?
The final destination is Meridian, MS. However, the second option is this: if we can get the dog to Knoxville, TN, there is someone who will take her to Meridian.

Hmm... Knoxville is really far out of the way if the dog still needs to go to MS. Knoxville is on the far east side of TN, whereas Memphis is on the far west side.
That would be taking the dog all the way across the state of Tennessee (7 hours) in the wrong direction and then back again...?
I know that sounds crazy, but that was the offer we had. That is just a backup plan if we cannot get the dog to Meridian in the first place.

Ok, I gotcha.
I wish I knew someone in Memphis. I know North Alabama has a lot of rescue friendly folks. I just don't know exactly who they are to ask them for help!
