I have exciting news
« on: January 13, 2006, 03:15:22 pm »
We are selling our house and moving farther south in Virginia. our area is getting so built up because so many poeple from Northern Virginia and Maryland are moving down here. I am so excited. We had always said somday we would do this and decided that someday is now. We have found a house we love but I don't want to get my hopes up until we are moving in but it is on 17 acres and we only have 1 acre now. The house is also out in the middle of no where. My husband would have a longer drive to work and me and longer drive to school but we think it would be worth it. So keep us in your prayers please.

17 acres!

You'll be upgrading from a "yard" to a "property"  ;D
We also live in a crowded area and it's our dream to own acreage like that.
Good luck!

We made our offer today so we just have to wait to see if they except it, and if they do we have to hope that our house sales in the alotted (sp) amount of time. Our house goes on the market tomorrow.

And on a side note I love my agent she own 10 dogs, pitts and rotties.

What I really love besides the acreage is it has a dishwasher and central AC.

We will not be getting anymore anytime soon I don't think :'(. I know what I can handle and we have a 3 1/2 year old, an 1 1/2 year old and 3 dogs, 4 cats and I foster cats as well. But I will be adding chicken to the list at sometime :).

I agree!  You DO have your hands full!!  Okay...no more puppers for a while!

My boys went to summer camp in the southern part of Virginia (sort of near Charlottesvill e; Orange)...it's such a beautiful place.   I love it there!!!

Good luck!  Fingers and paws crossed for you!!

Our agent listed the house this morning and a couple has already come to see. I hope this is a good sign.

House selling is so nerve racking.  :)  But I'm sure you'll have the best of luck.  Sounds like it'll go fast since you already have people looking at it.

My fingers are crossed for you - sounds like a dream! Do you have any pictures of the new house?

It is so exciting. We only have one neighbor, and he is like family. We have offered to give him land to put a house on if he wants to come with us. My son calls him Uncle when we have never told him too. Losing him is the hardest part of this. I wish everone had a neighbor like ours.
