Teamshredit strikes again!!
« on: January 13, 2006, 06:06:35 pm »
Chip and I recently purchased a home which included a beautifully landscaped yard. The first photo is of the perfect little bushes that lined the patio. We had about three weeks to enjoy those little bushes, as seen in photo #2. <sigh>

On the bright side the dogs have two years worth of chew toys(#3)....not to mention we now have expanded our patio space by filling in the area with concrete.
Daisy and Luke even put in their own personal touches, and we now have their paw prints forever stamped into the patio. On every single square.  ::)

I'm sorry I just had to laugh. When we moved into our house it had a flower garden. Needless to say it's not pretty anymore thanks to my wonderful dog! Aren't they the greatest!?!?  ;)

Sorry , but it did make me chuckle. I have total empathy..Farle y is a hole digger.Years living here none of the rottis dug 1 hole.  5 months and Farley had holes dug in several spots ::)

Looks like the did not like the original landscaping and wanted to fix it! It was a good laugh this morning. We have holes all in our yard, so we figure they just want to be the designers.

Two years ago, I planted a weeping peach tree. Last spring, Kendra chewed all the bark off the bottom foot of it. It survived until the summer heat got to it. I pulled it up, in preperation to throw it away. It was about an inch thick and 5' long. The next time I looked the dogs was fighting over the stick. They finally layed down and chewed on opposite ends of it. Now, 5 months later it's still in the yard, and get chewed on a bit every day.

I was curious about that stick, and after a week on so, I washed off a spot and chewed on if for a second. It didn't really have a taste, but it did have a peachy aroma. So, go claim a branch or two for you and Chip. I bet it's good!
