Betti afraid of heights...
« on: January 16, 2006, 07:24:53 pm »
Betti is afraid to come down the basement stairs....even though she's lived here for over a year.

I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.  For me they are the role model for being alive.  ~Gilda Radner

She's like a troll manning a bridge...or a snot gurgle searching for gnomes to tease.

It's probably better that she doesn't gallup up and down the stairs. In all actuality, she could break a bone or something. I don't want her to do anything that she doesn't feel is safe.  ;)

And here's the big kicker:

My sister's CAT is down there!

No wonder she wants down there...but is somehow cautiously thoughtful in advance of her actions.  Maybe she thinks the cat is the boogieman

My sister's cat is nothing short of the boogeyxxxxx! She attacks dogs. Her name is something like Ginee McGina McGinastein... pronounced like the private part. I don't know what my sister was thinking. She used to live in a townhouse and she'd call out across the complex, "Ginee! Ginee!"

Poor Betti...if it makes her feel better though, I have a fear of heights too.  :)

Betti's no fool!
She waiting at the TOP of the stairs for the cat.
Stupid cat can't stay down there forever!
I'll hunker down, be tiny, and wait!
