I don't have anything to add but I wanted to wish you good luck with the surgery.  Keep us updated and I hope your Saint has a quick recovery.

When do you go for your consult?  Will you speak to the doc. who will actually do the surgery?  When Otis came home, he had a morphine patch stapled to his skin.  He was in a lot of pain, but I think the morphine made him very disoriented which made the whole situation that much rougher.  Ask if there is any better way to control pain post-op.

Again, good luck and keep us posted!! ;)

After talking to the doctors the plan is to try therapy and a JD diet. Since he is not in that much pain as of now. The thinking is we should hold off as long as possible on the surgery and try to build some muscle as the surgery can only be done once.

Thanks for all the support, we will keep you posted on his progress.

so the insurance will cover the first one and the corvette will cover the second.

I don't envy your position, but I love your attitude.  I am sorry you and the pup have to go through this.

Dr.Demko at Mississippi State, They were the only ones that seemed to have Harley's best interest at heart. The others always came from a financial position first.
Thanks
