Lins > My old boy died June 22 , of '04 and I've missed him beyond belief .... But the other day I bought a new girl and she'll be here on Friday ..  ;) Was your old dog a rottie too ?

It's hard to loose them.   Lady and Grace are our first Rotties.
Missy was a Silky Terrier/Snauzer mix.  She was 14 and had developed a heart condition over a long time.  I finally put her to sleep on Feb. 26, 2005.

What kind of puppy are you getting?

She's a 1 year old miniature schnauzer girl  :) I was just curious because after my old ms past away I contemplated long and hard as to wheather I should ever get another . I'm just scared I'll end up not loving her as much because she won't live up to his standards ? Know what I mean ?

YES!  I know what you mean. 
We got Grace a month after Missy died.  I wanted to wait longer but I didn't.  I don't love her any more or less than I ever loved Missy or love Lady.  It's just a love thing.  and I don't think they want us to not make room for other dogs in our lives.
