What age is best to start ob training?

I have a almost 6 month old mixed bred male. I wondered if i am starting to late on getting him into ob classes? I want to go as far getting him trained as a therpy dog.

The sooner the better, but it's NEVER too late.  We taught our dog to sit and stay at 8 weeks (he was a little porker even then, and would have painted our house for us for a little bite to eat).
