I also own a Fila!! She is 7 years old now, brindle. I love her.
She is quite the coach potatoe now, but was fiesty in her day.

Fila Brasileiro are a Brazilian Mastiff. They are the national dog of Brazil. They are "personal protection" dogs. Strong dislike to strangers, excellent with family. Not a breed for people who enjoy compnay at their home! ha ha
They are a Rare Breed & are seen in ARBA (American Rare Breed Association) show rings. WWW.arba.org  to see all rare breeds.

Hello Well I have 3 english mastiffs, 2 great danes, and a mutt. One of my female english mastiffs just had a litter of pups the other day.  I dont know if any of them will end up being brindle since they are so young still. If not someday I hope to get a male brindle mastiff. Would be good if there was someone I could just do a even trade with. I think i'm obsessed with dogs. The only bad thing is all my dogs weigh more than me.But I love them all.

i have 1 english mastiff brindle he is a rescue pup and we love him. I also have a long hair german shepherd / collie mix and american staffordshire terrier . I never dreamed of having a mastiff i have done alot of research on mastiffs and they are truly a wonderful breed. i have rescued many different breeds but this breed has won a place in my heart they just keep on loving mine was very shy until he realized he had a loving home and my other 2 are spoiled and love me 2 . Now the mastiff "Bryce" is first to greet me first to everything when the other 2 let him he is my big love bug and i wish i had room for alot more!
