Eider got a bit wound up
« on: April 04, 2006, 08:05:39 pm »
Eider spent too much time in the crate yesterday and boy, was he wound up last night!  He went on a terror rampage.  Nothing was safe!  After saying 'no' about 100 times I gave up and let him destroy whatever he could get into since he wasn't ingesting it, just ripping it to shreds.  He had a blast in the recycling bins.  Here are the results...

Nothing so noble!  It was shear exhaustion!  Woke up with a migraine, drywall came and had to move the van - it was out of gas (siphoned? I had filled it not long ago and I don't drive it much due to tranny problems which was the end of the day take van to the shop for the tranny work), never sat down all day with errands and stuff that had to be done around the house including dinner, calls to find the drywallers before I had to leave for an afternoon appointment (they finally showed up 15 min before I had to leave again), etc, etc.  We had squeezed in a walk for Eider but it wasn't nearly enough obviously.  I wanted to go to bed though and wanted him to crash before sticking him back in the crate.  Figured he'd crash sooner if I let him destroy things.  I didn't clean it up until this morning.  Poor DH stepped on one of the pieces of plastic this morning because I was still in bed trying to open my eyes ;D  Fortunately today was quieter.   ;)

It's funny how much dogs love to shred things. Dozer loves to bite bubble wrap and make it pop, then he gets really excited and tears it to pieces.

OMG! That is too funny! You should see if anyone out there needs a 4-legged paper shredder.  ;D
