My Pyr is four years old and my Irish setter is three months old.
Aside from my two dog children I have four real kids, several barn cats(people are forever dumping them here) We live in the middle of nowhere .
Cujo is the Pyr and Shamus is the Irish Setter

Welcome, my name is Tim. I currently have a newf Kali but when I was growing up my family had Irish Setters so when ever I see one I am drawn to it. They are so hyper its no wonder I have never seen one overweight. I will be watching for more pics of your setter definitly.  Tim

They are beautiful. Cujo and I go round and round about brushing he hates it and they muzzle him when I take him to the groomers because she is afraid of him. He hasn't bit anyone yet but because his head is so big , I can see her cringe everytime I bring him in.

Sugar Bear would let me brush him all day if I would.  Dixie is good for about three seconds and she is gone on to get into something.

Baloo will get very upset if I don't brush him when I sit down for a second.  He's blowing his coat and he's itching something terrible.  I do admit though that he's not real parrtial to getting his back legs brushed.  He'll run off if I let him then.  Unfortunately, he has to get those areas brushed too...Poor baby...
