Tealk is Home From Surgery Now
« on: April 20, 2006, 05:44:10 am »
Tealk is home now. Poor baby is sore. He can only walk with a towel under his belly with us helping him. Ken gave him some spaghetti with his dog food so he ate it. He just wants to be petted.
I'm glad he's home :)

I had Tealk in the den with us. The baby gate is up. All the other furkids want to see him. So I let them in one at a time to visit Tealk. Each one of them seemed so concerned, the first thing they did was sniff Tealks incision, then they sniffed each others noses. I wonder what they were saying to each other ???

Keep using the sling long after you think you don't really need to.  We stopped sling-walking badger 3 months after surgery and he fell.
Good luck with everything :)

Thank you for doing that...for being such a responsible and wonderful, caring and loving Tealk friend. The poor boy. But, he will be better now. Dogs have this uncanny way of making the best of it: stifling their pain, smiling when they are sad and trying to please us.

Tealk looks so much like my sweet Badger, I just love him.  You are a wonderful generous mommy.  Hugs to Mr. Tealk, oh and give him a kiss from me on that soft spot between his eye and his ear.

I'm glad he's home. He looks like he's feeling better in the picture. Good luck with recovery. Sadie sends a big gross slobbery smooch his way. :-*
