new to Big Paws
« on: May 04, 2006, 10:22:49 pm »
I have two big 'uns -- Malish, my senior gentleman newfie/lab mix (he's 12) and Scylla, my 2-year-old Cane Corso female.  Both are rescue dogs.

Scylla was a rescue at Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL) -- given by a breeder to PG County Animal shelter when she and her sister weren't placed before 4 months old.  We got her when she was 4+ months old and 37 lbs.  Look at her now -- all 107 lbs of her!  :)  She's my first Corso, and I have to say, I love the breed.  Big paws are the best!

Is Scylla considered a "tubby" coloring?

Welcome! Your pups are adorable -- I like the window photo too.  :D  I'm Jennifer, mom to two rescued Saints - Nikita (9) and Bear (3). This is a great place, but addicting!  :D  I have to be careful about getting on at work -- my productivity goes WAY down!  ::)

Your newf/corso is adorable!  I can't think of anything better than a cross between the two.  Love the ears.  :)
