Y Leash for Two Dogs
A leash to walk two dogs
Leashes
Question Comment 1: Our growing 8 month old newfie girl and our 4 year old Flat coat get walked together, and I handle them each with their own leash. I do occasionally get concerned when the leashes cross, the dogs go around my back, etc, - that I'll drop one of he leashes.
So, I'm seriously considering a 'Y' type dual leash. Anyone have experience with them and large breeds? Recommendations please?
Y Leash
Comment 2:
We have a Y Leash and I love it. It's a lot easier for walks to use that than to use two separate leashes. If one doesn't want to cooperate, the weight of the other dog will stop them, as well as you on the other end of the leash. Our two figured it out pretty quickly and they learned they have to walk together. It makes it a lot easier in my opinion for walks, or even navigating crowds if you have to control both of them. And as an added bonus, if they misbehave, if you pull back on the leash, they bonk their
heads together :)
